Social Concerns
"Love one another as I have loved you."'
The obligation to "love our neighbor" has an individual dimension, but it also requires a broader social commitment.
Everyone has a responsibility to contribute to the good of the whole society, to the common good.
Under the heading of Social Concerns, the parish
- Reaches out to those in need
- Helps form our consciences so that we can be a leaven for justice
- Encourages all parish organizations to have solidarity with the poor
