Small Church Community

A small Church Community is a group of 8 to 12 adults or families, who come together usually in each other's homes, weekly or every other week to share something of their stories with one another and to share God's story. Through listening to one another's story, people help each other make connections between everyday life and faith.

All parishioners of St. Francis are invited and encouraged to participate in a small church community. Presently there is a group meeting every evening except Thursday and Saturday. New groups can also be started when there are about 10 people willing to commit to trying it for at least six sessions.

Small Church communities are not just about meeting individual needs. They are also about building up the entire parish community and also strengthening the life and mission of the parish.
