Neighbor To Neighbor Ministry
St Francis of Assisi Parish promoting parish service and communication through neighborhood clusters
The mission of this ministry is to provide better communication with parish and parishioners and to generally
bring members of our parish closer together in a circle of support. Through this ministry we as a faith
community do our part to be good neighbors to one another. It is a way to welcome newcomers, minister to the sick,
be present when a family member dies and generally know and love one another.
All parishioners are assigned to a neighbor to neighbor grouping based on the areas in which they live.
Each area has a contact person. The contact person
- Sees to it that all the people of the area are informed about their area and how people are connecting to one another
- Contacts the parish if a special need is discovered for example New Baby, Illness, special concern - CALL 601-856-5556
The list of areas follow. If you have a special way that you can help in your neighborhood or if you have a special need that you would like your St Francis neighbors to be aware of contact Ginny Cabell at 601-853-0846 and Mariland Hendley at 601-856-4654.
